    Very nice boots

    I was in New Orleans visiting family, while at home they had a big snowstorm. I only had tennis shoes with me, and I knew that would not be good when I returned. I bought these to handle the snow (14 inches) as I brushed the snow from my vehicle. They worked exactly as I hoped. I actually needed a width a bit larger than these offered, but either the store didn't have those, or they don't come wider. I don't think they'd be comfortable in thick socks. But they were fine with the socks I had with me.
