The Footbed Is the Whole Point
Cork and latex, lined with suede. It starts firm and molds to your arch over the first week or two of wear, so it ends up shaped to your foot specifically rather than an average foot.
That's also why a Naot feels stiff in the store and different a month later. If it's comfortable on day one, it'll be excellent by day thirty.
And it comes out
The footbed is removable, which matters for two reasons. You can put your own orthotic in. And when the cork eventually wears down, you replace the footbed instead of the shoe — these last years longer than most people expect because of that.
Widths
Naot makes medium and wide in many styles. What's on this page is what we have in stock, but if you need a wide and don't see it, call — we can usually order it.
