Where it started
Built by a River Guide
Teva started in the 1980s with a Grand Canyon river guide who needed a sandal that stayed on in the water. That's still the idea: straps that hold, soles that grip, and a sandal that dries while you walk.
What We Carry
Hurricane XLT2 and XLT3 — the sport sandal
Three adjustable straps, a cushioned footbed and a grippy rubber sole. The one most guys picture when they hear "Teva." Up to size 14.
Terra Fi 5 and Strata — more cushion
A thicker, more supportive sole for longer walks, including a leather Terra Fi.
Langdon and Ellwood
Easier, more casual styles for around town.
Voya Flip — the flip-flop
For the pool, the camp and quick trips out the door.
ReEmber — the quilted slip-on
A puffy slip-on for cool mornings and the walk to get the paper.
Grandview GTX, Ridgeview and Aventrail — trail and hiking
Hiking boots and a trail shoe. The Grandview GTX is waterproof Gore-Tex.
How Teva Should Fit
- Most Teva sandals come in whole sizes. The straps dial in the rest
- Your heel sits on the footbed and your toes stay behind the front edge
- Snug the straps so your foot doesn't slide on a wet sole
- Hiking boots: try them on with the socks you'll hike in
Why We Carry It
