Jason Markk Shoe Care
Cleaners, brushes, protector spray and odor fixes for the shoes you already love. Rain, humidity and a Jazz Fest mud puddle are all hard on shoes. This is how you keep them looking right.
Do this first
Spray Them Before the First Rain
Protecting a new pair is easier than cleaning a ruined one. Jason Markk's Repel spray dries clear and puts a barrier between your shoes and water and dirt. Do it before you wear them, especially suede.
Start With What You Need
Clean them
The Essential Footwear Cleaning Kit is where most people start: a deep cleaning solution and a brush. The Quick Clean Kit and Foaming Cleaner work without extra water. Quick Wipes and the Travel Kit are for on the go.
Suede and nubuck
Water is suede's enemy. The Suede Cleaning Kit cleans it dry: rub out the mark with the eraser, then brush the nap back up.
Leather
The Leather Care Kit cleans and conditions. The Premium Leather Balm, made with beeswax and coconut oil, keeps leather soft so it doesn't dry out and crack.
Protect them
Repel stain and water spray, plus a refill so you're not buying a new bottle every time.
Odor
Moso inserts are bamboo charcoal. Drop them in your shoes overnight, and recharge them in the sun once a month. The Refresh Spray comes unscented or in Sierra Rain.
And the rest
The Hat Care Kit and microfiber towels.
A Few Rules
- Test a cleaner on a spot nobody sees before you do the whole shoe
- Let shoes air dry. Never put them on a heater or in the dryer
- Rotate your pairs. Shoes that dry out between wears last longer and smell better
