Orleans Shoe Co. — The Sock We Recommend Most
Feetures Socks
The best sock in the store, and the one we put on our own feet. Targeted compression, a seamless toe, and a left and a right — because your feet aren't the same shape as each other.
Look at the sock
There's an L and an R
Feetures are anatomically shaped for each foot, not knit as a matching pair. That's why they don't bunch, don't twist, and don't rub. Once you've worn a pair you notice every sock that isn't.
What Makes Them Different
Targeted compression
Compression where you want it — through the arch and the ankle — and not where you don't. The sock stays put through a shift or a run instead of sliding down into your shoe.
Anatomical design
Shaped left and right to follow the actual structure of your foot. Better fit, and far fewer blisters, because there's no excess fabric folding over on itself.
Seamless toe
No ridge across your toes. Sounds minor until you've done ten miles or a twelve-hour shift with one.

Which Cushion
Ultra Light — barely there. For a snug shoe or a hot day.
Light Cushion — the one most people land on. Enough padding to feel it, not enough to change your shoe size.
Max Cushion — for long miles and long shifts. Bring it with you when you get fitted, because it does affect the fit.
Which Height
Invisible and No Show Tab — hidden in the shoe. The tab keeps the heel from sliding down, which is the whole problem with no-show socks.
Quarter and Mini Crew — above the shoe line. What most runners here wear.
Knee High — graduated compression, for travel, long shifts, and swelling.
Why This Matters More Than You'd Think
We measure feet all day, and a fair number of fit problems turn out to be sock problems. Too thick and the shoe is suddenly a half size small. Too thin and your heel slips. Cotton and your foot is soaked by noon — which in this climate is how blisters start.
Bring the socks you actually wear when you come in for a fitting. It changes the fit more than people expect.
