The Footbed Comes Out
Oncept looks like a fashion sneaker, so people assume there's no room for an orthotic. There is. The Toronto and Phoenix have a molded footbed that lifts right out, so your arch support fits and you keep the look.
The Styles
Toronto — new, and the everyday one
A retro trainer. Light and flexible, with nylon, leather and suede on top. The easiest one to wear every day, in the most colors.
Fez — new, and the low-profile one
A slim sneaker in everything from black and retro white to zebra and denim.
Phoenix — the classic
The early-'90s court shoe in soft leather with suede trim. A little dressier than the Toronto, still a sneaker.
We also carry the Bari, Fuji and Preston. Oncept keeps its line small on purpose, fewer styles done well, so most of what they make is on this page.
How Oncept Fits
- True to size for most people
- Half sizes through 11½, then whole sizes up to 14
- The leather gives a little over the first week, so snug is fine but tight isn't
- If you wear an arch support, bring it. We'll fit the shoe with it in
