The Strap Runs Through the Sole
A Chaco is one long strap that threads through the sole, so you can tighten it in some spots and loosen it in others. That's why they fit so well once they're set. It takes a minute to get right the first time. Come in and we'll set it for you.
What We Carry
Z/2 Classic
The Classic with a toe loop, which holds your foot in place on wet rocks and uneven ground. In black.
ZCloud 2
The same footbed with a softer, cushioned layer on top. Good if you're walking more than hiking.
How a Chaco Should Fit
- Whole sizes only. If you're a half size, come in and we'll help you pick
- Your foot should sit inside the footbed, with nothing hanging over the front or sides
- Snug straps, but nothing digging in. If it rubs, the strap needs adjusting, not a different size
- The footbed is firm at first and breaks in over a week or two
