Protection Without the Steel
The Moab Response has a composite toe, and one of our Jungle Mocs has a carbon fiber toe. Both protect your toes like steel does, but they're lighter, and there's no metal to set off a detector.

Built on Merrell's best-known hiking boot, with a waterproof leather and textile upper and a composite toe.
How It Should Fit
- With a safety toe, your toes shouldn't touch the cap, even when you bend your foot
- Snug through the middle, so your foot doesn't slide on a slick floor
- Bring the socks you work in. They change the fit
