The Styles
The Orleans — our original
The shoe that started Vieux. A clean lace-up sneaker in soft suede or waxed, water-resistant canvas. Named for Orleans Street, the spine of the old city. In Grey Suede, Brown Suede, Forest and Beige canvas.
The Bienville — the moccasin loafer
A true moccasin with a flexible sole. Slips on, stays put, and works with jeans or a jacket. Named for Bienville, who founded the city. In Taupe Nubuck, Smooth Tan, Caffe Tumbled and Cognac Tumbled.

What Makes a Vieux
- Made in Portugal from premium leather, suede and waxed canvas
- Fully leather lined, so your foot sits against leather, not synthetic
- A leather-covered cushioned footbed
- Clean lines that go from the office to Frenchmen Street
The Orleans sneaker's footbed has good support and cushion, and it comes out so you can dry it or clean it. The Bienville's footbed is built in.
Why We Made It
After more than 20 years fitting feet in this city, we wanted a shoe that looked sharp and felt like a comfort shoe, built the old way. Our last name, Piediscalzo, means "barefoot." That's the standard every pair has to meet.
