Birkenstock Women's Gizeh Big Buckle Black 1018753

I bought a new pair of the women’s black leather Gizeh Big Buckle Birkenstocks to replace the same pair that I have had for several years. I noticed right away that they aren’t as comfortable under foot, and then realized that the front end of the cork bed is thinnet by about an eighth of an inch compared to the older ones that were made when Birkenstock was still owned by its original owners. In addition, I realized that the thickness of the leather straps on the sandal is a lot thinner than the previous ones. I am very disappointed- have been wearing Birkenstocks for decades and will probably never buy another pair.
