The Styles
The Riverbend — the retro runner
Full-grain leather and suede, with a wave-cut side panel inspired by the bend of the Mississippi and a grippy gum rubber sole. Named for the Riverbend, where the river turns and the streetcar ends. In Tan and Ivory, Navy and White, Light Blue and Silver, Grey and White, and Brown and Ivory.
The Desoto — the platform
The Riverbend's lines on a 1.25" sculpted platform. Height without the wobble. Named for Desoto Street. In Blue and White, and Light Blue and White.

What Makes a Vieux
- Made in Portugal from premium leather and suede
- Fully leather lined, so your foot sits against leather, not synthetic
- A removable, leather-covered cushioned footbed with arch support
- A gum rubber sole with real grip on wet New Orleans sidewalks
The footbed has good support and cushion, and it comes out so you can dry it or clean it.
Why We Made It
After more than 20 years fitting feet in this city, we wanted a sneaker that looked as good as the ones in the magazines and felt as good as the comfort shoes on our wall. Our last name, Piediscalzo, means "barefoot." That's the standard every pair has to meet.
