The Embark is SAS's answer to the outdoor sport sandal — built for New Orleans summers, festival days, and walking vacations where flip flops won't cut it. Three adjustable hook-and-loop straps let us dial the fit to your exact foot, which is what separates it from the strap-and-hope sandals.
What's under your foot
A dual-density contoured molded insole — SAS's proven polyurethane base with a layer of memory foam on top, covered in soft microfiber. Underneath, an EVA midsole for cushioning and a rubber traction outsole for wet sidewalks and levee gravel. It's the rare sport sandal with real arch contour.
Runs true to size with a roomy footbed. The three adjustment points handle high insteps and feet that swell in the heat — set the straps loose in the morning and snug them as needed. If you're between sizes in a strappy sandal, the adjustability means you can usually stay with your true size rather than sizing up.
